The Journal of Specialised and Professional Education (JOSPED) is the official research publication of the College of Specialised and Professional Education, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, Nigeria. Authors submitting manuscripts are expected to present work for assessment and peer review. The following guidelines are to assist authors in preparing manuscripts to be submitted and considered through review editorial process.

Language

• Submit all manuscripts in English Language.

Topic

• Subject matter from all areas of education especially specialised areas as highlighted in the scope of the Journal.
• Report of research studies or project should include practical implications and applications of the study or project.

Manuscript Preparation

• Use APA format (latest edition) consistently throughout the manuscript.
• All manuscripts must be computer generated double-spaced with 1” margins with pages numbered. Incorrectly prepared manuscripts will be returned without review to corresponding authors.
• Prepare a title page containing each author’s name, affiliation, address and telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
• For multiple authorship, identify which author should receive correspondence from the editorial board.
• Make the manuscripts not longer than 8-12 double-spaced pages.
• Receipt of manuscripts will be acknowledged promptly to corresponding authors by the Editor.
• It is a condition of publication that manuscripts submitted to the journal have not been published, accepted for publication or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) agree that copyright for the article is transferred to the publisher, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication.
• It is the responsibility of the author to check the accuracy of all data, statements and references used.
• Figures and photos should be labeled with “Figure 1” and tables with “Table 2” and assigned Roman Numerals. Table and figure titles should be placed on top of the figures or tables given.
• The abstract should be about 300 words and structured to include the purpose of the paper, the scope, the objectives, the methodology and approach, the findings, the practical applications and significance.

Submission Process

• Submit relevant pictures to give greater impact to your manuscript – black and white prints are preferred.
• Submission should be processed in Ms-Word format.
• Corresponding authors are notified of the status of manuscripts as soon as recommendations are received from assessors/reviewers.
• Lead author receives two copies of the issue in which his/her article is published.
