About the Journal
The Vocational and Applied Science Journal (The VAS Journal) is a peer reviewed journal domiciled in the College of Vocational and Technology Education, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, Nigeria. The objectives of "The VAS Journal" are to:
(a) stimulate research and development activities related to vocational and technical education;
(b) provide forum for scholars, researchers, practitioners and policy makers to disseminate current and emerging thought-provoking essays, discussions and research papers valuable for policy and practice;
(c) facilitate the dissemination of research findings and diffusion of knowledge among researchers, policy makers, academics, non-academics and educators.
The VAS Journal is a journal that publishes theoretical and empirical articles in vocational and applied sciences with a view to bringing about sustainable development in the society. Considering the place of Technical and Vocational Education in social, economic and political development of any country, issues relating to its quality and development should not be left to chance in the emerging global trend for educational and technological advancement.
The significant contributions of the contributors to this journal will go a long way in achieving qualitative improvement in Technical and Vocational Education in Nigeria and the wider world. The journal is published twice a year.
